MKMMA Week 22A – The Push!

As I was thinking about what to write about for this week’s blog, I was compelled to share a video that resonates deeply in me and what this MKMMA course has been about. All of the incredible lessons we have learned through the persistent and consistent efforts and guidance of Mark J, Davene and all the MKMMA guides, which has brought each of us on our own Hero’s Journey.

This video is a story of an Eagle’s responsibility as a parent and her parental mission to make sure her young flourish. As you watch this video, think about how it relates to the constant nudging and pushing by Mark and Davene to do the assignments and lessons that have been given to us, so we to can finish strong and flourish in our lives…
Our Hero’s Journey!

“Why does the
                Thrill of soaring
Have to begin with the
                              Fear of falling
She thought.
There Remained one final task…The Push!
Until her children discovered their wings, There was no purpose for their lives”.

MKMMA Week-20: Our Dash——–

When Will I Begin? questions

“Before you can live a part of you has to die. You have to let go of what could have been, how you should have acted and what you wish you would have said differently. You have to accept that you can’t change the past experiences, opinions of others at that moment in time or outcomes from their choices or yours. When you finally recognize that truth then you will understand the true meaning of forgiveness of yourself and others. From this point you will finally be free.” ― Shannon L. Alder

At times, when I was younger it seemed as though life contained an endless supply hourglass2of days. It didn’t matter how long I held a grudge or how long I waited to do something I wanted to do—there would be an unlimited pool of other opportunities. At least, that’s what I thought back then.

Maybe it’s life’s passage from childhood to adulthood, the moment when you realize life happens now and that’s all you’re guaranteed. It doesn’t really hit you when you merely know it intellectually, like you know your ABCs, state capitals, and other concrete facts you learn in school.

It hits you when somehow you feel it as you get older. Maybe your health declines. You lose someone you love. A tragedy shocks your world. It isn’t until you realize that all life fades…. that you realize right now and today is a commodity, and a scarce one at that.

But for those of us who take precarious decisions, life may be different. How true that is. Stare life in the eyes as you experience it like a roller coaster ride. The meaning of your life is something you create day after day with your own actions and thoughts. Life is made up of choices and decision making is critical as each choice has both consequences and benefits. Always ask what we can learn, and how we can move forward, and stop ourselves from blaming other people if things aren’t the way we would like them to be.

Mark J asked us to make an index card with a  dash between when we were born manifesto-self-reflection-smalland a date we would die. That was the hardest thing for me to do. Then to look at it and realize how little time we have.(Not that I plan to dwell on it). We then realize how valuable and precious time is.

He then asked us to put underneath the dash, When Will I Begin?

I want to Be adventurous; Explore, live on the edge a little, and embrace new challenges. Visit new places with my loved ones. Take the road less traveled. Don’t stick to the same old, same old. Life is more exciting with adventure! What about you?

Carpe Diem or Seize the Day. Live each day as if it’s your last and overall just do it! Like they say, Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery but today is a gift, that’s why it’s called the present. Life presents us with a lifetime of opportunities but the opportunity of a lifetime is got when right choices are followed. Be present to enjoy the moment. Each day is a fresh start with options just waiting to be explored, so what are you waiting for?

From the date we are born to the date we die, what matters most is the dash between those years. For the dash represents all the time that you spend and only those who love you will know what that little line is worth. For it doesn’t matter how much we own or all the material things we have such as cars, homes, or money. What matters most is how we lived our lives with kindness, appreciation, gratitude, love, honesty, and with integrity and most of all how we spend our dash.

MKMMA Week 6- The Construction Zone:

I’m starting with the man in the mirror . I’m asking him to change his ways. And no message could have been any clearer If you wanna make the world a better place. Take a look at yourself, and then make a change……

~ Michael Jackson “Man in the Mirror”

Globe mirrorOur MKMMA journey together, like every new home or building that is built, first requires a strong foundation before the structure is erected. We have all been on this journey together for the past 6 weeks giving each other support and encouragement. For me, it has been an incredible experience to see members giving encouragement to those who are struggling and having challenges and lending them support. We are building our minds, reconstructing our new Blue Print and getting rid of the rotten wood of our past, our bad habits. We all have been building that foundation by reading the Master Keys, Og’s “The Greatest Salesman in the World” Scroll#1, our Daily Blueprint Builder, our index service cards and DMP/Movie trailer cards. We have been constructing our new Direct Main Purpose (DMP) in life using our PPN’s and Smart Goals and associating shapes and colors to them programming our subconscious mind.

Week 6 we are starting to put it all together, constructing our DMP movie poster with our PPN’s and Smart Goals and linking them with the shapes and colors. We are reading for the second week, Emerson’s Essay on Compensation, and the “The Law of Giving and Receiving”.

Like Mark J has said many times….”Give more, get more”.DM

Give more scaleThis week we have moved on to Scroll #2 in “The Greatest Salesman in the World”. “I will greet this day with love in my heart”…. “For this is the greatest secret of success in all ventures”….”Without it I will fail though I possess all the knowledge and skills of the world”.

My MKMMA journey with all of you, reminds me of a song by Johnny Cash, a “Ring of fire”. “Love is a burning thing and it makes a fiery ring…and bound by Wild Desire, I fell in to a ring of fire….. The taste of love is sweet, when hearts like ours meet. I fell for you like a child, Oh but the fire went wild.”

Our flames are burning higher, and our ambers will glow into the future! Let the glow shine on.

Live by the Compass, Not by the Clock!
