MKMMA Week 21- Your Thoughts Create Your World

“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts.imagesCAL80WNK

With our thoughts, we make the world.”  Buddha

Thoughts create everything. But here’s the problem. Most people spend their time thinking about what they don’t want, and they’re wondering why it shows up over and over again. In The Secret, it is referred as the “don’t want” epidemic. When people think, speak, act and focus on what they don’t want, they keep it alive.

imagesCAA97GDJWe can free ourselves of this epidemic by thinking and speaking about what we do want. Our thoughts not only matter, they create matter. Thought is where everything comes from. And our thoughts create our lives and our world.

We’ve all heard the old expression, “I’ll believe it when I see it.” But that’s not really how it is. We have learned that The truth is more like this: “You’ll see it when you believe it.”

When novelist Victor Hugo said, “There is nothing more powerful than an idea whose time has come,” he was giving us a literal description of how reality works. Our thoughts are the controlling factor in what we manifest and create in our lives.

The idea precedes the thing.sorenkierkegaard383064

In an actual and physical sense through the Law of Growth, our beliefs don’t simply reflect our reality, they create our reality, and they create our world. This concept also applies to the attainment of massive success in business.

During our sits we have created the habit, skill and awareness of listening to our thoughts. What are the dominant thoughts that run through your mind? We need to constantly review our thought list. Is it a list of “don’t wants” or needs? What thoughts do you need to change?

Using the Law of Substitution we need to replace our “don’t wants” with wants. When we find ourselves thinking of things we don’t want to manifest in our life, we need to interrupt those thoughts and replace them with thoughts about what we do want.

Start with a picture, an idea in your mind, and before you know it, you will be living it.imagesCATY4V72

Our thoughts and beliefs are the most powerful force in the universe. Make sure you are mindful of yours. Since you alone are responsible for your thoughts, only you can change them.” ~Paramahansa Yogananda

“We can let circumstances rule us, or we can take charge and rule our lives from within.” ~Earl Nightingale

The Answer: The secret to your success lies in controlling your thoughts

  1. wonderful effort once again! thank you for your insights each week. I have been using the “you’ll see it when you believe it’ concept with my childbirth prep classes for years. and as I type this, probably have this theme running thru all the workshops I teach. Wow. I say we need a thought for the day, or a quote for the day from you to set the tone, as a tiny thump on the head to remind us that it is all up to us. However, your blogs makes it seem so possible, so, ‘of course’, so attainable with less effort than the ‘smarty-pants man’ running around in everyone’s head makes us believe. any thoughts on being a blogger outside this class? you are amazing.

    1. Thanks Jenny. I appreciate your comments as well. It isn’t all that easy…we have to have thoughts and vision, but then we have to take action upon them to bring them into reality, and have the faith and belief that with persistence and effort they will be manifested. Look forward to seeing your dreams come true!

      1. just have to really figure out what that is! was just sitting outside discussing this very thing–if I couldn’t fail, if money were no issue…. what project or business opportunity is 100% perfect? so, what % of non-perfect is acceptable for taking on the business opportunity? is there a formula for that?? I know the MKMMA answer is that all things can be overcome with persistence. however, I have had the experience of driving myself into the ground in an effort to get where I wanted to be. Not all hepped up to do that again! would like to believe I’m smarter now…. that may or may not be true!! working on overlaying the MKMMA way to pregnancy and birth with varying degrees of success. no fear of failure has to be in there with be happy first, somehow. I hope we get to meet in person some time.

  2. Good evening Joe, We hope that you are well and have been taking the cold weather in stride! Stella and I arrived from Sri Lanka on Friday and have been struggling to synchronize the biological clocks with this time zone. It was aout 24 hours straight of flights and dashes across airports, plus waiting on homeland insecurity lines. I can’t believe the institutionalzed paranoia of our poor country.

Your citing of the lord Buddah (as the Sri Lankans and others call him) comes after five days of traveling among the kingdoms in Sri Lanka that were Buddah based. That is the kings and ther people worship(ed) Buddah and they built whole cities around temples – we saw statues of buddah in all imaginable rocks, frescos, sitting, standing, reclining, etc. We hiked up small mountains, looked in caves, dowm long causeways, through monestaries, museums, even one temple that guards the sacred tooth that came from the funeral pire of Buddah. Buddism is supposed to be a philosophy, an you have to grant that it is a way of thinking and life, but because of all of the rituals, it is a belief structure and an organized religion. At least the folks are peace loving wich is moe than you can say for other faiths.

The work went well (already the drafts have caught up with me and so tomorrow I’ll go to work on them). Actually a final draft from the Bangladesh work also caught up with me on Friday and I tackled that yesterday. So we arrived after the snow fall and Friday was nice and sunny and right. Waking up at all ours also makes us aware of the bright moon on these clear nights!

I enjoyed the writing, i.e., ideas creating our world and projecting our thoughts to give meaning to what is alos around us. Yes, being optimistic means not harping on what we do not like. Some folks are hung up and never get out of the rut!

All our best and thank you for sharing the thoughts,

    Kris and Stella

    1. Thanks Kris. Glad you and Stella had a great time on your work trip. Sounds like you really took in the sites there. I would love to see the country out there in Buddah land. We’ll get together soon!
